The trustees apply the funds of Able Aid Foundation at their discretion and in accordance with the charity purposes and objectives. The number of beneficiaries that can be supported by the trustees is necessarily limited to the amount of funds that are available for distribution each year.

The trustees have determined that the current priorities for funding are to relieve poverty to primary and secondary school aged children worldwide through the provision of grants towards tuition for those who cannot afford to attend schools.

The priorities for support will be reviewed by the trustees every year and may be changed depending upon circumstances and the perceived effectiveness of the application of funds. Any change to these priorities must still fulfil the charitable purpose and objectives of the charity.

Promotion, it is vital to ensure that those we seek to reach are made aware and that the application process is kept as simple as possible. We make people aware via our own or other websites, such as funders, local community groups and foundations.  Social media – groups relevant to our activity and through networks of those who meet potential beneficiaries, such as schools, medical professionals and charities.

The trustees will carry out sufficient due diligence to ensure that the request or situation meets both the charitable purposes, and the priorities for support set out in this policy.

The trustees are content to work in partnership with other grant making bodies where funding of an entire project is beyond the scope of any single organisation.
